PFERD Tungsten Carbide Burrs are available in a variety of sizes and shapes, and consists of cuts suitable for coarse stock removal to fine finishing on numerous materials. PFERD milling tools are manufactured in compliance with the highest quality standards and offer outstanding quality, a long service life and excellent stock removal rates.

The set contains five Tungsten Carbide Burrs in various shapes and sizes all with a 6mm shank consisting of PFERD’s COMBICUT suitable for universal use.

Set consist of one Tungsten Carbide Burr of each of the following Shapes and Sizes:
    • Cylindrical Without End Cut (ZYA 06mm x 16mm x 6mm Shank)
    • Ball Shape (KUD 06mm x 05mm x 6mm Shank)
    • Cylindrical Shape with Radius End “Bullnose” ( WRC 06mm x 16mm x 6mm Shank)
    • Pointed Tree Shape (SPG 06 x 18mm x 6mm Shank)
    • Round Tree Shape (RBF 06mm x 18mm x 6mm Shank)

Operating Instructions:
- Observe the following recommended rotational speed:
    • Steel and Cast Steel < 38 HRC : 24 000 – 32 000 RPM
    • Steel and Cast Steel > 38 HRC : 13 000 – 19 000 RPM
    • Stainless Steel : 13 000 – 19 000 RPM
    • Hard Non Ferrous Metals : 13 000 – 19 000 RPM
    • Soft Non Ferrous Metals : 13 000 – 24 000 RPM
    • Cast Iron : 24 000 – 32 000 RPM
    • Plastics and Other Materials : 24 000 – 48 000 RPM
- Maximum Overhang = 10mm
- Clamping Depth = 20mm
- For optimum performance use machines with a power output of 300 – 500 watts.
- Only use machines that are intended for use with the relevant tool.
- The burr surface in contact with the workpiece should not exceed 1/3 of the total burr circumference. This will prevent tooth breakage due to excessive vibration and chattering.
- Ensure correct and suitable personal protective equipment is worn while using the tool.
