PFERD Tungsten Carbide Burrs are available in a variety of sizes and shapes, and consists of cuts suitable for coarse stock removal to fine finishing on numerous materials. PFERD milling tools are manufactured in compliance with the highest quality standards and offer outstanding quality, a long service life and excellent stock removal rates.
Set 1812 STEEL contains five tungsten carbide burrs for processing steel and cast steel in the most common shapes and dimensions. The sturdy plastic box protects the tools from dirt and damage. The burrs are secured at the shanks, facilitating the selection and withdrawal of the tools. Five further slots are available for other burrs.
Set consist of one Tungsten Carbide Burr of each of the following Shapes and Sizes:
Cylindrical Without End Cut (ZYA 12mm x 25mm x 6mm Shank)
Ball Shape (KUD 12mm x 10mm x 6mm Shank)
Cylindrical Shape with Radius End “Bullnose” ( WRC 12mm x 25mm x 6mm Shank)
Pointed Tree Shape (SPG 12 x 25mm x 6mm Shank)
Round Tree Shape (RBF 12mm x 25mm x 6mm Shank)

Operating Instructions:
- Observe the following recommended rotational speed:
Steel : 12 000 – 20 000 RPM
- Maximum Overhang = 10mm
- Clamping Depth = 20mm
- For optimum performance use machines with a power output of 300 – 500 watts.
- Only use machines that are intended for use with the relevant tool.
- The burr surface in contact with the workpiece should not exceed 1/3 of the total burr circumference. This will prevent tooth breakage due to excessive vibration and chattering.
- Ensure correct and suitable personal protective equipment is worn while using the tool.
