PFERD offers a range of high quality paper-backed, waterproof, abrasive sheets available in various industry required grit sizes. The ECO-PAINT range consists of high quality Silicon Carbide (SiC) grain and is the ideal solution for wet and dry manual sanding on a variety of materials including Steel, Plastic, Glass, Paint, Primer, Varnishes and Lacquers as well as Carbon and Glass reinforced plastics.
Grit selection Guideline:
- Coarse Grits 60 to 80: For high stock removal and smoothing out deep scratches. Surface rust removal
- Medium Grits 100 to 240: Blending and Sharping. For smoothing out shallow depressions and scratches, coarse sanding marks. Rounding sharp corners.
- Fine Grits 320 to 600: Initial Finishing. For removing light scratches & sanding marks. Preparing surfaces for painting and varnishing.
- Very Fine Grits 800 to 2500: Final Finishing. For removing very light scratches & sanding marks. Final preparation for painting and varnishing.
- Manufactured using high quality raw material.
- Very good grain adhesion.
