PFERD’s range of POLIFAN Flap Discs are manufactured and evaluated in accordance with the strictest quality requirements. As a founding member of the Organisation for Safety of Abrasives, PFERD is committed to conform to tougher inspection requirements which even goes beyond international recognised EN 13743 safety standards.
The “SG POWER” Polifan Flap Disc is the ideal solution for application requiring high performance flap discs that offer high stock removal rates combined with outstanding service life. Although highly effective on steel surfaces, the STEELOX version also performances very well in stainless steel applications. Its high, and aggressive, stock removal rate makes it the best option for weld dressing, surface grinding, chamfering and deburring applications.

Operating instruction:
- Observe the recommended rotational speed – Maximum operating speed is: 80m/s or 13 300 RPM
- Only use grinding machines intended for use with the relevant tool.
- Ensure correct and suitable personal protective equipment is worn while using the tool.
- With POLIFAN flap discs, a grit size that is one grade coarser can be selected to achieve the same surface finish as with fibre discs.
- Optimum performance when combined with high powered tool drives. (> 1100w)
- Avoid material cross contamination.
