PFERD POLINOX mounted grinding wheels consist of non-woven polyamide abrasive, into which abrasive grain is integrated. The non-woven abrasive flaps are arranged in multiple (axial) disc layers. Since the individual non-woven discs are not interconnected, the abrasive surface adapts easily to different workpiece contours, e.g. when working on profiles or pipes. PFERD’s POLINOX mounted grinding wheel range consist of various sizes and grit sizes as well as grain types suitable for a broad range of materials and applications.

Operating instruction:
- Optimum cutting speed RPM: 7 600 (15 m/s).
- Maximum RPM: 12 300 RPM (20 m/s)
- To avoid breakage, the maximum permissible RPM should not be exceeded under any circumstances.
- Contact pressure to be reduced if optimum recommended RPM is exceeded.
- Maximum shank overhang = 15mm.
- Ensure correct and suitable personal protective equipment is worn while using the tool.
