PFERD Hole Saws are manufactured from tough, shatter-proof, sturdy HSS bimetal.
Advantages:
- Hole saws offer a cost effective way of cutting / sawing out round cut-outs.
- Good chip removal.
- Chattering during sawing is prevented by the alternating tooth pitch.
Specifications:
- Diameter: 44mm (LS 44)
- Max Cutting Depth: 31mm
- Matching Arbor: LSS 2 (Sold separately.)
Operating Instructions:
- Observe the following recommended rotational speed:
- When cutting metals, use suitable cutting fluid. (This will improve the service life of the hole saw.)
- When working on stainless steel remove all particles which develops during the application from the workpiece and ensure to clean the workpiece chemically or mechanically to reduce the risk of corrosion.
- Ensure all the teeth are applied evenly and avoid swinging movements as this can lead to tooth breakages.
- Avoid overheating of the hole saw.
- Ensure correct Personal Protective Equipment is worn while using the tool.
