PFERD’s SFS 76 safety flange set is developed to increase the overall operator safety and comfort during the cutting application, especially where portable or hand-held angle grinders are used. It is highly recommended to use the SFS 76 safety flange set for all 180mm and 230mm cutting discs, as it improves the lateral stability of the cutting disc during use.
Advantages:
- Increased lateral stability of the cutting disc during use.
- Improved control and guidance during the cutting operation.
- Reduced vibration.
- Bottom and top flange the same size to ensure no warping or bending of cutting disc.
- Reduced risk of centre-ring breakages.
- Suitable for M14 and 5/8’ tool drive spindles.
- In accordance with international safety standards and guidelines regarding optimum flange size for cutting discs. (i.e. minimum 1/3 of cutting disc diameter)
