EHT 115 – 1,0 SG ALU is a 1,0mm cut-off wheel specially developed for cutting of aluminium and other non-ferrous materials. The product offers a high cutting performance and excellent service life thanks to PFERD’s focus on speed, comfort, and superior cutting quality. The SG ALU range of cutting discs consists of a unique mixture of abrasive grains and special bonding technology which ensure minimum clogging when working with aluminium and other non-ferrous materials.
Advantages:
- Suited for Aluminium and other non-ferrous materials.
- Contains no fillers that could leave undesirable residue on the workpiece. Therefore, the surface can be welded immediately.
- Minimum clogging.
- Reduced heat build-up.
- Improved processing time due to high cutting performance.

- Suitable for electric and pneumatic tool drives.

Operating instruction:
- Observe the recommended rotational speed – Maximum operating speed is: 80m/s or 13 300 RPM
- Only use grinding machines that are intended for use with the relevant tool.
- Avoid excessive side pressure and maintain a 90° cutting angle.
- Avoid material cross contamination.
- Ensure adequate ventilation and safe dust extraction when processing aluminium workpieces.
- Ensure correct and suitable personal protective equipment is worn while using the tool.
