The patented quick-mounting COMBICLICK system from PFERD consists of a specially developed backing pad and a rugged mounting system for use with PFERD's COMBICLICK fibre, non-woven and felt discs. The COMBICLICK system, including backing pad, are suitable for use on commercially available angle grinders. The system is highly versatile which makes it the ideal solution for a variety of applications including Levelling, Deburring, Surface Structuring, Step-by-Step fine grinding and high stock removal applications.
The special geometry of the cooling slots ensures high air throughput, which in turn considerably reduces the thermal load on the abrasive material and the workpiece.
Compared to conventional tools, the quick-mounting system, the robust holder, the safe fixing of the tool and the integrated cooling system together achieve a workpiece temperature that is 30% lower, a stock removal rate that is 25% higher, a tool life that is 30% longer due to maximum usage of abrasive grain available.
Advantages:
- Reduced heat in the grinding zone.
- No tightening flange / nut resulting in an almost completely flat grinding angle.
- High economic efficiency.
- Convenient and safe.
- Suitable for electric and pneumatic tool drives.
