PFERD offers a range of high quality paper-backed abrasive sheets available in various industry required grit sizes. The ECO-AC range consists of high quality Aluminium Oxide grain and a stearate coating which reduces clogging making it the ideal solution for dry manual sanding of a variety of materials including Wood, Paint, Primer, Varnishes and Lacquers.
Grit selection Guideline:
- Manufactured using high quality raw material.
- Very good grain adhesion.
- Flexible and Light latex paper.
- Suitable dry sanding applications.

Grit selection Guideline:
- Coarse Grits 60 to 80: For high stock removal and smoothing out deep scratches. Surface rust removal
- Medium Grits 100 to 240: Blending and Sharping. For smoothing out shallow depressions and scratches, coarse sanding marks. Rounding sharp corners.
- Fine Grits 320 to 600: Initial Finishing. For removing light scratches & sanding marks. Preparing surfaces for painting and varnishing.
- Very Fine Grits 800 to 1000: Final Finishing. For removing very light scratches & sanding marks. Final preparation for painting and varnishing.
