PFERD Abrasive Spiral Bands offers the ideal solution for numerous fine grinding applications, from coarse stock removal to finer finishing. The range consist of various sizes and grit sizes as well as grain types suitable for a broad range of materials and processes. Matching rubber holders / mandrels readily available in the various sizes.
The set consist of the following:
- 12 Cylindrical shaped abrasive spiral bands made up of 3pcs per grit size.
- Grit Range is A60 (Medium) , A80 (Medium to Fine) , A150 ( Fine) , and A240 (Very Fine).
- One suitable holder / mandrel consisting of a 6mm shank. (GK 3030)

- Abrasive bands fits securely on the rubber drum holders as the holder expands during operation.
- Outstanding tool life due to unique manufacturing processes.
- High stock removal due to high quality Aluminium Oxide abrasive grain.
- Even and consistent grit coverage ensures constant surface finish and stock removal.
- Versatile and universally suited for numerous applications and materials.

- Holder / Mandrel Hardness: 65 – 70 Shore.
Operating instruction:
- Optimum cutting speed 20 – 30 m/s. (13 000 – 19 100 RPM)
- Maximum RPM: 19 100 (30 m/s)
- To avoid breakage the abrasive band should not protrude beyond the rubber holder / mandrel.
- Ensure correct and suitable personal protective equipment is worn while using the tool.
