PFERD offers a range of HSS Conical Countersinks in various diameters. PFERD conical countersinks are characterised by their particularly sharp, right-hand, cutting edges that are able to achieve a very good performance and an extended service life even at low cutting speeds. These countersinks are suitable for a range of materials and numerous applications including Chamfering, Deburring and general countersinking.

Operating Instructions:
- Observe the following recommended rotational speed:
    • Rust and acid resistant metals (Inox) : 530 - 800 RPM
    • Steel and Cast Steel < 220HB : 800 – 1 060 RPM
    • Steel and Cast Steel > 220HB : 530 - 800 RPM
    • Hard Non Ferrous Metals : 530 – 1 060 RPM
    • Soft Non Ferrous Metals : 800 – 1 060 RPM
    • Cast Iron : 530 RPM
    • Plastics and Other Materials : 530 - 800 RPM
- Only use machines that are intended for use with the relevant tool.
- When cutting metals, use suitable cutting fluid or cooling fluid. (Smoother drilling action and extended service life.)
-When working on stainless steel (Inox) remove all particles which develops during the application from the workpiece and ensure to clean the workpiece chemically or mechanically to reduce the risk of corrosion.
- Ensure correct and suitable personal protective equipment is worn while using the tool.
